I have been here for a while now. Everyday I went out of the boarding house and go find some job openings here in Cebu. These people are so lucky that there are really jobs here. Its the problem of whether you are qualified or not that brought the whole dilemma and frustrations.
Every night I planned my route or day as I seek out the most likely way that I could get the most of my resumes (that is about 50 of them...hehehehehe) to companies of which I would like to be affiliated with. I also added in my list call centers since its the IN job in the country. Besides that I could speak good English, I believe I am equipped for the job. Did I mentioned that I already bought a MAP and downloaded the route of the jeepneys here in Cebu? No? Well, I told you now. Its good to find where you are here in Cebu once in a while.
Its really hard to be here all alone. Of course, I have my cousin and an aunt here in Cebu but I don't want to impose on them. Ohhhh I got some friends here. But the same reason... I don't want to impose on them. I just wanted them to at least know I AM HERE!!!! But hell...at least they know.
Did you ever feel the feeling that you are alone in this world? You feel alienated and so worried for the future? That you would grab whatever opportunity that comes in your way and just end up with a simple reply, "We will evaluate your resume and we will call you"? Well, I suppose that is what most jobseekers are feeling. I hate it particularly that reply. Why they just say that you FAILED!? At least that is honest. Call it brutal but at least you don't let your hopes up to the expectation to be employed.
I am a survivor. I always told myself but sometimes its hard to be just that. I always tell myself....Could I just die? Ohh hell, I can't. I still have my sisters to attend to. They are the only ones that give me comfort. I am slowly failing. I hate that. I hate Failing...I lost myself once and not ever EVER EVER again.
